Ft. Clarence Beach was very popular for weekend family shows, where the family would come from in the day to enjoy swimming, fish, and festival, and if they thought appropriate, stay and watch the concert, some of which started from early evening. Captain Barky and Wicker man were very popular in the late 80s and early 90s as a duo. Captain Barky died tragically a few years ago.
