Ghetto Splash ’96 highlights (Bounty, Sizzla & more)

Ghetto Splash had its first staging on December 17, 1989, at the Craig Town square and grew every year for the next six years until the promoters were forced to take a short break, after which they found a new home.
One of the more memorable stagings was in 1996 when the event drew close to 50,000 people at the National Heroes’ Park.
Ghetto Splash is traditionally held on the third Tuesday in December and has always attracted all the major artists.

This is a specially edited video that was produced for airing on national TV and cable stations. I have not found the Betacam master tape but I just found the VHS copy, so I share.
