🚨 🚨 Police Warning GazaNation Over Threats To Lisa Hanna🚨 🚨
A senior member of the People’s National Party told The Gleaner/Power 106 News Centre that the party is aware of the threats against Hanna and is taking steps to have the matter properly investigated.

In November last year, Vybz Kartel was transferred from the Horizon Adult Remand Centre to the maximum security Tower Street Adult Correctional Centre.

A prison source said the artiste was transferred to Tower Street for “confinement”.

Before his transfer, there was mounting concerns that Kartel was apparently recording songs while incarcerated at Horizon.

Kartel, whose real name is Adidja Palmer was sentenced in April 2014 to life in prison for the murder of Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams.

He is to serve 35 years before he becomes eligible for parole.

Meanwhile, a senior member of the Jamaica Constabulary Force is warning persons that it is a criminal offence to make threats on social media.

Head of the Police Cybercrimes Unit Inspector Warren Williams told our news centre that no report of threats against Lisa Hanna has been made to his office.

However, he says persons should be aware that they can be charged under the Cybercrimes Act if they use technology to intimidate others.

Inspector Williams said persons who are affected by threats online should make a report to the police so that appropriate investigation can be done.
