Red Rat: Not In Feud With Mr Vegas

At one point in his career he was the best promise to take up where dancehallers Shabba Ranks and Patra left off in the international mainstream. So much so that his ‘oh no’ zinger became one of the most sampled in dancehall; spawning hits like Samantha J’s ‘tight up skirt’.

This now is 2015, and the biggest story surrounding Red Rat in ages is a feud between him and one time friend Mr Vegas. Well at least that’s what we knew up until we saw Rat in New York recently where he assured me that “big tings a gwaan fi him” in spite of his silence.
