DJ Tiger and Glen Ricketts – “Ordinary Day”

A very historic song and music video in many ways. This song was recorded a few weeks after Tiger came out of the hospital following his near-fatal road accident. The song was recorded at Dynamic Sounds, produced by Glen Ricketts, and executive produced by Russell Hadeed on his Godfathers Label. I had the distinct pleasure of co-writing Tiger’s lyrics and producing/directing the music video. The locations were Godfather’s Night Club (which eventually became the Asylum Nite Club), Dynamic Records studio and the Mona Dam. Some of the footage came from a TV series I produced, entitled “Reggae Dancehall ’93” hosted by Tiger, Richie B, Sandra Foster (former Ms. Jamaica) and a couple other celebrities.
